JoAnn Cooke was born on November 22 1940 to Tom and Robby Hester. She lived in Holly Creek, OK and attended Broken Bow High School.
She grew up with two sisters. Pat and Dianne and two brothers, Buddy and Royjean. JoAnn married Curtis Cooke and moved to Idabel, OK. They had a daughter Dayna and a son Jeff.
After Curtis’ passing, JoAnn moved to Norman Oklahoma and lived there until August of 2025. She attended McFarlin Methodist church and was an active member of the singles group and multiple Bible studies. Her relationship with the lord was important to her and so was her relationship with family.
Always a kind, calm and loving woman; she adored her children and grandchildren. No doubt she is reunited with her beloved son and daughter praising Jesus today.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, March 27, 2026, at Denison Cemetery, in Idabel, OK
