JoEllen Jones

JoEllen Provence Jones, age 85, passed away Tuesday at McCurtain Memorial Hospital in Idabel following a brief illness. She was the daughter of former County Commissioner, Rufus Provence and his wife Elbie Martin Provence of Idabel, both proceeded her in death, along with their beloved son and brother to Jo Ellen, Jett Provence. JoEllen was also proceeded in death by David Jones, her loving husband and companion in life since 2007.

JoEllen is survived by one son, Mitchell Joe Morrow 58 of Mineola, Texas and his wife Tracy Miller Morrow, 2 daughters, Jensen Routh, Sasha Morrow and two sons, Jesse Miller and Joe Dru Morrow. She is also survived by many grandchildren, relatives and a host of friends and colleagues.

JoEllen attended college, worked as an Educator and began a “Theatre” program in McCurtain County with multiple successful openings and local talent.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at White Family Funeral Chapel with Bro. Philip Snow officiating.
