John David Collins

John David Collins, 71 went home to be with his Lord on November 29, 2022, in Ft. Worth, TX. He was born May 1, 1951 in Broken Bow, OK. John married his wife, Jacqueline Ann (Oldham) of 36 years on April 25, 1986 in Clarksville, TX.

John David served his country in the Navy for 7 years, traveling the world including the countries of Spain, Greece and Turkey, as a boiler technician on an oiler ship. He worked in area sawmills, and Tyson's for over 17 years. He was a faithful member of the Gates of Glory Fellowship Church since 2006. John David loved God and loved his wife Jackie with all his heart.

John David was preceded in death by his parents: John Lewis Collins and Faye (Walker) Collins; sisters: Linda Anderson, Faye Brock; and a brother: Randy Collins.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Jackie Collins; brother, Bobby Collins and his wife, Lora Collins; as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

A memorial service will be held at the Gates of Glory Fellowship Church in Idabel at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, December 27, 2022.
