Johnny Harley Obituary

Johnny Ray Harley, age 61 passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at Medical City in Plano, TX. He was born on October 22, 1962 the son of Effielene and Roy Harley. Johnny was a member of Myrtlewood Baptist Church.

Johnny was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed camping and fishing. He could often be found with family or friends telling stories. He was the life of the party and kept everyone in stitches.

He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Harley; brother, Mike Harley; sisters, Charlene H, Sandra Harris, Cynthia Harley; niece, Cheryl Williams; nephews, Kirby Harley, Erik Harley; grandparents, Tobias and Rosa Williston; grandmother, Lena Battice; and his grandfather, Leo Harley.

Johnny leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Effielene Harley of Idabel, OK; son, Lance Harley and Charissa of Oklahoma City, OK; daughters, Melissa Allen and Brandon, Julie Harley and Jose; brothers, Jeff Harley and Lee, Billy Harley and Phebe; sister, Karen Wesley and David; brother-in-law, Gilbert Harris; sister-in-law, Una Harley; grandchildren, Chandler Harley, Alysah Harley, Peyton Allen, Levi Creek, Jose Lerma, Jalayna Lerma, Jalissa Lerma, Joaquin Lerma, Noah Harley, Nessa Harley; great-grandchildren, Laila Harley and Armani Harley;  several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Monday, July 22, 2024 prior to the service.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, July 22, 2024 at the White Family Funeral Chapel in Idabel, OK with Bro Stanley Shomo and Bro. Tommy Wesley officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests a covered dish be brought to the Choctaw Nation Investment Center.
