Johnny Post Obituary

Johnny Wayne Post, age 89, passed away on Monday, April 13, 2026, at Tulsa, OK. He was born in Bedias, TX on July 27, 1936, the son of Thomas and Aletha Post. On March 10, 1965, Johnny married Marilyn Martin at Bryan, TX.

Johnny was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and camping.  He loved casting a fishing line beside his son and his wife anytime he could. He was an over-the-road truck driver for more than 50 years, enjoying the vast landscapes and savoring the many memories he made driving the beautiful US countryside.

Johnny loved his family with a passion and cherished the time he spent with each and every loved one. He will truly be missed by those who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Cheryl Post; brothers, Maron Post, Dan Post, Arbol Post, Eloren Post and sisters, Edith Bonifazi, Pauline Banko.

Johnny left to cherish his memory, his wife of 61 years, Marilyn Post of the home; son, Johnny Post, Jr. and Joni of Owasso, OK; grandchildren, Kyleigh Tykal, Randi Graff; four great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at the White Family Funeral Chapel with Bro. Russell McDaniel officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, April 17, 2026, at the funeral home.
