Idabel resident, Juan (Ito) Delgado Bustos, 69, entered into rest on November 20, 2020.
In Leon Guanajuato, Mexico, Juan took his first steps under the guidance of Cruz Delgado and Francisca Bustos. It was in 1990, he met and fell in love with the lady of his dreams, Luz Martinez. In 1993, he and Luz moved to Idabel and continued their beautiful courtship. They were united in marriage in 2001 in DeQueen, AR. Juan worked production at Tyson’s to provide for his family. He was a very hard worker but he also enjoyed playing also. Juan played soccer and ran marathons. He also listened to music, exercised, photography, dancing and going to the beach in Mexico with his family. Juan was very sociable and described as the life of the party. But most of all, he loved and cared for his family and friends. His love and laughter will be dearly missed.
Juan was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Jose Cruz Delgado Bustos and one sister, Maria de Jesus Delgado Bustos.
He leaves to continue his legacy, his wife, Luz, of the home; daughter, Priscilla Delgado of Idabel; four children from his first marriage; son, Juan Delgado Palomares, and daughters, Tere Delgado Palomares, Laura Delgado Palomares, and Carolina Delgado Palomares all of Mexico; three brothers, Andres Delgado Bustos, Federico Delgado Bustos and Martin Delgado Bustos all of Mexico; four sisters, Estela Delgado Bustos, Amalia Delgado Bustos, Lourdes Delgado Bustos all of Mexico; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
“You ran in the marathon of life and you will continue to shine in the sky, because you will always lie in our hearts”. Thank you for each day that you gave us, you will be eternally remembered from here and there.
Funeral mass was held at 10:00 Am, Monday, November 23, 2020 at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Idabel. With Fr. Steve Austin officiating.
