Kathy Jean Hoover

Kathy Jean Hoover, age 70 passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at Oklahoma City, OK. She was born in Smithville, OK on February 19, 1955 the daughter of Coy Fairless and Burla Snow.

Kathy enjoyed watching Heartland on Netflix. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved spending time with them and was very supportive and involved with their many activities.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Burla Snow Murray; husband, Herman Hoover in 2000; sister, Janie Barker; brothers, Gary Beggs, Terry Beggs, Jerry Snow and James Larry Smith.

Kathy leaves to cherish her memory her father, Coy Fairless of Smithville, OK; her bonus son, Mike Parsons of Idabel, OK; daughters, Betty Grooms of Ashdown, AR, Billie Williams and Jake of Idabel, OK, Evon Kegley and James of Foreman, AR, Carylon Peters and Aaron of Idabel, OK; brother, Roger Beggs of Hatfield, AR; sister, Linda Ferguson of Idabel, OK, ten grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at the Blackland Cemetery.
