Lillian Kay Downs, age 78, passed away on May 1, 2025 at her home in Haworth, OK. Kay was born July 22, 1946 in Olympia, WA, the daughter of Johnny and Dorma Mayo.
Kay had a passion for reading, often losing herself in the pages of a good book. She also enjoyed the challenge of working on crossword puzzles.
Family was at the heart of Kay’s life. She cherished every moment spent with her loved ones.
Kay was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Dorma Mayo; her husband, Johnny Downs and her son, Tony Downs.
Kay is survived by her son, Steve Downs and Wanda of Haworth, OK; grandchildren, Tye Downs of Haworth, OK, John Jeffrey Downs of Sacramento, CA; three great-grandchildren, Evan Downs of Haworth, OK, Alexander Fennell of Haworth, OK, Autumn Downs of Idabel, OK.
A private service will be held at a later date.
