Kelly Compton

Kelly Gale Compton left this world to be with our heavenly Father on Monday, July 20, 2020. Kelly was born March 6, 1973 at Hugo, OK to Ronnie and Connie Compton.
She was a 1991 graduate of Valliant High School. She had the voice of an angel and was awarded a four year vocal scholarship at Southeastern Oklahoma State University but chose to attend college in Norman and became a paralegal. Kelly was honored to be Miss Valliant High School 1989-1990.

Kelly loved to cook, bake and host gatherings for her family and friends. She was always the life of the party with her beautiful smile and flashy outfits. Kelly loved spending time with her daughters, attending her granddaughter, Faithlynn’s, pageants and her niece, Shali’s, rodeos.  She was their biggest fan.

She was preceded in death by grandparents, Burton and Rae Barr and A.D. and Arlene Compton and a special friend, Brent Coley Turnage.

Kelly is survived by her parents, Ronnie and Connie Compton of Valliant, OK; daughters, Raelan Bailey and fiance, Cody McMikel of Valliant, OK and Jaydan Bailey of Broken Bow, OK; granddaughter, Faithlynn Jay Bailey, who was the joy of her life; sister, Kaci and Jason Roberts of Valliant, OK; niece, Shali Compton of Valliant, OK; aunts, Karen Pickens of Valliant, Vickie and Steve Pratt of Honey Grove Community, Tammy and Mike Frazier of Garvin, OK; Godfather, Jerry Neil Thomas; Godson, Jansen Storey; and a host of other relatives and many friends.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 23, 2020 at the Millerton Assembly of God Church with Bro. Randy Watkins officiating. Interment will follow at the Valliant Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at the funeral home.
