Kevin Dewayne Mize, aged 37, passed away on Friday, October 4, 2024, at Plano, TX. He was born on October 27, 1986, in Idabel, OK, the son of David Mize and Norma Dunlap. Kevin was a 2005 graduate of Broken Bow High School.
Kevin was a devoted father, a faithful friend, and someone who found joy in every moment spent with his loved ones. Kevin is deeply missed by his mother, Norma, his big brother, Keith, and his twin, Kris, who shared a special bond with him throughout their lives.
Kevin was a proud father to his beloved daughters, Kylie, Aurora and Sofia, who were the center of his world. He cherished every second he spent with them, from going to church together to playing at the park and sharing his love for music and singing. His joyful spirit and infectious laughter will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew him.
A man of unwavering faith, Kevin faced many struggles in life but never wavered in his commitment to seek the Lord for guidance and strength. He was deeply committed to his faith and believed in the power of kindness, always ready to lend a helping hand or give the shirt off his back to someone in need.
In addition to his love for family and faith, Kevin had a talent for building and working with his hands. He was often seen rolling up his sleeves to tackle many tasks, from working on cars whipping up hearty meals that brought everyone together at the table. His family treasures the many good memories of playing horseshoes, where it was clear that his greatest joy came from being with his girls.
