LaKeesha D. McKee, age 40 of the Union Grove Community, OK passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Idabel, OK. She was born on October 8, 1981 in Texarkana, TX.
LaKeesha was a devoted mother, a fierce advocate, and a true friend. She cared for all those that she knew and never gave up on anyone, even if they gave up on themselves. A natural-born caretaker, her life's purpose was fulfilled when she was with her boys. She loved with her whole heart and gave everything she had to everything that she did.
LaKeesha spent her free time loving on her sons, crafting with the boys, rescuing any animals in need of love, listening to music and keeping up with all the people in her pack. Her big heart and cheery smile will be missed by many, far and wide.
She was preceded in death by her father, Danny Ray Butler; a brother, Dylan Butler; maternal grandparents, William Henry Coffman and Diane Coffman; paternal grandparents, Felix Butler and Joseph and Nap Ebert.
LaKeesha is survived by her husband, Jared McKee of the home; sons, Shawn Allen McKee of the Forest Grove Community, OK, Bridger Rayn McKee and Killian Skye McKee both of the Union Grove Community, OK; her parents, Karen and Joe Ebert Jr. of the Union Grove Community, OK; brother, Christopher Ebert of Oklahoma City, OK; sister, Ashley Butler of Broken Bow, OK; paternal grandmother, Dena Webb of Broken Bow, OK; mother and father-in-law, Leesa and Jerry McKee of the Redland Community, OK; brothers and sisters-in-law, Heath and Courtney McKee and Cameron and Chris Severn; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at the Haworth Assembly of God Church with Bro Mark Davidson and Bro Mike Due officiating. Interment will follow at the Denison Cemetery in Idabel, OK.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Wednesday October 13, 2021 at the funeral home.
