Larry Wesley Jr.

         Larry Mitchell Wesley Jr., age 52 of Idabel, OK passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2019 at Idabel. He was born on May 31, 1967 in Idabel, OK, the son of Larry Mitchell Wesley Sr. and Linda Marie Stand Wesley. Larry was a 1985 graduate of Idabel High School and also attended Haskell Indian Junior College. He married his wife Crystal on September 23, 2016.         

          Larry was over maintenance at both Idabel and Broken Bow Choctaw Casino's. An avid Pittsburg Steeler's fan as well as anti Dallas Cowboys. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Larry was a member of the Forest Grove Baptist Church and was a lifetime resident of McCurtain County.

          He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Wesley; a brother, Lee Wesley; and a cousin, Dale Mitchell.

          Larry is survived by his wife, Crystal Wesley of the home; sons, Skyler Wesley of Tyler, TX and Kashaun Wesley of Idabel, OK; daughters, TaSheena Wesley of Tyler, TX and Hallie Battiest of Edmond, OK; grandchildren, Arius Wesley, Adalyn Cole and Ryker Wesley; sisters, Noka Avery and Michelle Blakely and Nate all of Idabel; special nieces, Shalonda Willis, Justice Wesley and LeAnn Dabbs; a special nephew, Thomas Blakely of Idabel, OK; special friends Scott Davis and Cassandra of Broken Bow, OK, April Hickman Castillo of Oklahoma City, OK and Michele Tachawwickah of Lawton, OK; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

            Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 20, 2019 at the White Family Chapel in Idabel, OK with Bro. Russell McDaniel officiating. Interment will follow at the Slater Memorial Cemetery in Wright City, OK.

          A wake service will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at the funeral home.
