Laurentina Victoria Zabaleta

Laurentina Victoria Zabaleta, age 86 of Broken Bow, OK passed away on Monday, November 7, 2022 at Texarkana, TX. She was born on February 3, 1936 in Cacahuananche, Guerrero, Mexico, the daughter of Matias Victoria Montanez and Leonila Zabaleta Barcenas.

Laurentina was a small business owner and entrepreneur. She enjoyed being in her garden, taking care of her flowers, weaving and embroidery. Laurentina loved spending time with her family and especially loved to feed them.

Laurentina was a member of the St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church and was very strong in her Catholic Faith. She was loved by all who knew her and she will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Mariano Avila Lopez; a grandson, Jorge Alberto Ayala Lopez; and a sister, Natividad Ward.

Laurentia is survived by her sons, Abel Lopez Victoria, Azariel Lopez Victoria and Lalo Avila Victoria; daughters, Arminda Avila Victoria, Lilia Lopez Victoria, Angelica Lopez Victoria, Felisitas Vertiz, Evangelina Franco, Anavelia Velazquez and Maria Isabel Beltran; 24 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.

A rosary service will be held at 10:00 pm on Wednesday, November 09, 2022 at the St Francis De Sales Catholic Church.

The Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at the St Francis De Sales Catholic Church in Idabel, OK. Interment will follow at the Denison Cemetery.
