Leola Stehle

Leola Faye (Harley) Stehle, born August 19, 1943 in Idabel Ok and passed away in Fort Worth TX on March 19, 2023. 

Leola Faye or Faye as many knew her, was the daughter of Leo Michael and Esther Cepheus Harley. She is preceded in death by brother’s Leo Eugene Harley, Everette Eric Harley, Virgil Wade Harley, Roy Harley and Alfred Harley. Preceded in death by sisters Ruthie Mae Williston and Ruby Washington. 

Leola graduated from Idabel Gray High School in 1963. She held several clerical positions until she was hired by the U.S. Treasury Department in 1979. She retired after 25 years of service.  

She enjoyed watching Dallas Cowboys football, cooking, traveling and was most happy when spending time with family, and attending church singing events. Leola would spend many hours reading scriptures and meditating with the Lord. She had a huge unselfish heart and was willing to help others wherever and however possible. 

Leola leaves to cherish her memories, Sister Amelia James of Idabel, Daughter Cynthia Beveridge and husband Guy Beveridge of Fort Worth Tx, son Tim Harley and wife Shirley Harley of Keller Tx. Granddaughters Leanda Harley of Los Angeles CA and Annette Harley of Fort Worth TX. Special cousin Betty Kupic of Idabel OK along with many other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, March 24, 2023 at White Family Funeral Chapel in Idabel, OK with Rev. Alfred Harley, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at the Kulli Tuklo cemetery Idabel, OK.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at the funeral home.
