Linda Darnell Hanson

Linda Hanson was born on January 26, 1947 in Haworth, Oklahoma to Clyde and Zona Hanson. She passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2024 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Linda grew up along side her brothers and sister. As time went on, she married and had a family of her own. She was blessed with two children – Dale and Gayle.

After many years of being a very dedicated and courageous mother, Linda was also blessed with three grandchildren who she adored very much. Linda was a very strong woman and even through the years without always getting a positive outcome of every situation still…she never lost faith in her heavenly Father. There are many that will miss her smiling face, but only until we can be reunited.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Steven Hanson, Bill Hanson, Elmer Smith; her sisters, Sidney Hanson and Sherry Powell.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children – Dale and Gayle; her grandchildren, David, Houston and Aubrey; her brother, Ed Smith and G.I. Smith; and other relatives.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, July 18, 2024 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints – Surrey Hills.

Interment will follow at 5:00 P.M. Thursday, July 18, 2024 at Pollard Cemetery in Pollard Community, Oklahoma.
