Louise (Coffman) Denison

Louise Denison, age 77 passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2022 at Idabel, OK. She was born on September 13, 1944 in Idabel, the daughter of Edward and Geneva Rolen Coffman.

Louise was homemaker. She enjoyed crocheting, games shows and listening to gospel music, especially the Gaithers and George Jones. Louise attended Grace Assembly Church and had lived in Idabel most of her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John “Jay” Denison in 2017; a son, Roger Denison; a brother, Gary Coffman; and a sister, Evelyn Simmons.

Louise is survived by her granddaughters, Renee Purcell and Robby, Cassidee Denison; great-grandchildren, Ethan Purcell, Emalyn Purcell and Zayah Barker; brother-in-law, James "Jimmy" Denison; sister-in-law, Virginia Denison; many nieces and nephews; and a host of church friends and family.

Services will be held at 3:00 on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at the Grace Assembly Church in Idabel, OK with Bro. Kyle Jordan officiating. Interment will follow at the Denison Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, October 31, 2022 at the funeral home.
