Ludie Marie Glover, age 92 passed away Sunday, June 16, 2024 at Broken Bow, OK. She was born on May 13, 1932 in Rayville, LA the daughter of Carl and Mable Wheat.
She was an avid gardener, who enjoyed taking care of her flowers. Ludie Marie was an accomplished cook who spent many hours creating her delicious meals. Her hospitality was unmatched and her home was the place to gather.
Ludie Marie was a devoted mother who loved her family with a passion. She was affiliated with the Holly Creek Community Church. She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Bryant Wheat, Boyd Wheat, Larry Wheat, Herbert Wheat, and first husband, Ted Fischer.
Ludie Marie leaves behind to cherish her love and memory her son, Ted and Barbara Fischer of Holly Creek, OK; brother, Charlie Malaire of Amarillo, TX; sister, Becky Voshalike of Broken Bow, OK; Louella Thomas of Broken Bow, OK; grandsons, Scotty Fischer, Jason Fischer; great-grandson, Zane Fischer; three beloved cats, Rose, Shelton and Boy; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, June 21, 2024 at the Holly Creek Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at the funeral home.
