Luther “Luke” Herbert Austin, Jr, age 64 of Idabel, OK passed away on, Friday, May 7, 2021 at Idabel. He was born on June 9, 1956 in Lansing, MI, the son of Luther and Loretta Pell Austin.

Luke worked as a commercial roofer. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a lifetime resident of McCurtain County.

He was preceded in death by his father Luke Austin, Sr.; mother, Loretta Davis; step-father, Jimmy Davis; father-in-law, Kenneth Voss; wife, Kenna Austin and three brothers.

Luke is survived by his step-mother-in-law, Geraldine Voss of Arab, AL; sons, Jamie Rethman and Shellie of Stigler, OK; step-daughters, Misty Dawn McKillip and Robby of Boynton, OK, Melba Morgan and Bobby of Broken Bow, OK; sisters, Debbie Parker of Idabel, OK, Linda John of Idabel, OK, Ruby South of Vandalia, IL; 13 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

At Mr. Austin's request, no services will be held.
