Marian Sue (McGough) Miller

Marian Sue Miller, age 73, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2026, at her home in the Union Grove Community, OK. She was born on December 21, 1952, in DeQueen, AR, the daughter of Lex and Sue Johnson McGough. She married Junior Miller on December 28, 1970, in Clarksville, TX.

Marian was a retired schoolteacher having taught at Haworth for 20 years. As a teacher, her students always had a special place in her heart. Marian was always busy and worked hard at everything she did. She was an amazing cook and loved to sew and garden and excelled at both. 

Marian attended the Church of God International in Texarkana until she could no longer physically do so. She loved her husband and children fiercely and absolutely adored her grandchildren. Marian was loved just as dearly by her family, and they made many special memories together. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a nephew, Buster Brewer.

Marian leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 55 years, Junior Miller of the home; daughter, Krystal and Christopher Weeks of Idabel, OK; sons, Ben and Becky Miller and Zachary Miller all of the Union Grove Community; grandchildren, Ryan Weeks, Saraih Weeks, and Lex Miller; sisters, Kay and Everett Wilkerson of the Goodwater Community, OK, Sharon and Ted Brewer of Stonewall, OK, and Jan and Charlie Hill of Haworth, OK; brothers, Patrick and Cynthia McGough of Edmond, OK, and Gary and Farisa McGough of Duncanville, TX; caring and dedicated friends, Wilma Vandiver, Bobbie Burton, Julie Alford, Emily Davis, Kathryn Alford, Karen Jeanes, Jackie Green, Rose Shemwell, Barbara Ray, and Leatha Walker; and a special compassionate nurse, Karen Osterdock; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at the White Family Chapel in Idabel, OK. Interment to follow at the Pauley Cemetery in Little River County, AR.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, March 16, 2026 at the funeral home.
