Obituary
It is with profound sadness we mourn the passing of Marilyn Joyce Beck of Idabel. She passed away on August 19, 2021 in Durant, OK. She was born December 25, 1949 to James and Ruth Beck of Idabel, OK.
Joyce worked as a lab and X-ray tech at McCurtain Memorial in Idabel and for Choctaw Nation Clinic in Broken Bow for many years. She will be fondly remembered as “Sweetness” by her loving partner, Danny “Boone” Garrett and her many furbabies that she loved dearly.
She will also be dearly missed by her niece Stephanie Ratcliff and husband Stephen of Idabel and their children. Her nephew Bobby Kelly and wife Rebecca of Broken Bow and their children. Her sister Judy Kelly and her husband Bobby of Idabel. And by her many friends she worked with over the years at McCurtain Memorial and Choctaw Nation.
