Marvin Ray Ebahotubbi, age 73 passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at his home in Idabel, OK. He was born on April 22, 1948 in Talihina, OK, the son of Lex Williston and Lina Ebahotubbi. Marvin married his wife Lena on May 28, 1996 in Idabel, OK.
Marvin worked many years at James Hodge Ford and was one of their first employees, beginning in 1970. He also began working at the Norwood Funeral Home in the early 70s and would continue working for the funeral home at 3rd and Central over the next 50 years. Marvin was very passionate about his work and always did his best for the grieving families he served.
Marvin was a longtime member of the Kulli Tuklo United Methodist Church. His Faith was very important to him and much of his spare time was spent reading and studying his bible. Marvin loved his family and cherished the family gatherings and the time he was able to be with them.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Betty Jo Ebahotubbi; brother, Roy Ebahotubbi; and step-daughters, Joyce Thurman and Jackie Evans.
Marvin is survived by his wife, Lena Janz Ebahotubbi of the home; daughter, Rachel Ebahotubbi and Donna Kindsvater of Idabel, OK; step-daughters, Kimberly Durst, Carolyn Janz and Myron Royal, Corina Foryan, Judy Sweeten, Janie Webster all of Idabel, OK and Janice Williams of Mena, AR; sister, Linda Stepp of Kentucky; brother, Larry Ebahotubbi of Idabel, OK; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 10, 2021 at the White Family Funeral Chapel with Bro. Jimmy Smalling officiating.
A wake service will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at the funeral home.
