Mary Wilson

Mary Adeline Wilson was born January 30, 1930 in Salt Lake City, Utah to William Riley Cook and Mae Alma Harmon. Mary went to sleep in death on Sunday, December 20, 2020.

Mary married Luther Ivy Wilson on December 4, 1948 in DeQueen, AR. To this union they had two sons, Pete and Darrel Wilson.

Mary spent her life as a hard worker in the home, logging industry and local sewing factory. She was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses May 23, 1976. In this pursuit of her life, she spent as much time as she could reading the Bible and trying to share the things she learned with others. Even in the final days of her life she felt a great desire to share these things with her loved ones.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Luther; and a son, Pete as well as both parents.

Mary is survived by her son, Darrel and wife, Vera; grandsons, Junior Manuel, Charles Stevenson, Randy Gray, Russell and Bobby Joe Wilson; granddaughters, Stephanie Wilson Durand, April, Dana and Christie Wilson. Mary is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at the White family Chapel in Idabel, OK with interment to follow at the Arden Cemetery in Little River County, AR.
