Masako Atterberry, age 90 passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Broken Bow, OK. She was born on September 6, 1930 in Yokohoma Japan, the daughter of Tatsugi and Tsune Hirose.
Masako enjoyed traveling and dancing. She was a loving mother and grandmother and loved spending time with her many grandchildren. Masako was affiliated with the By Pass Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Jerry Atterberry; a granddaughter, Alyssa McDaniel; and her brothers, Yoshirae Hirose, Manjiro Hirose and Shinnosuke Hirose.
Masako is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Becky and Steve Williams of Eagletown, OK; sons and daughters-in-law, James and Sharan Atterberry of Las Vegas, NV and John and Debbie Atterberry of the Redland Community, OK; grandchildren, Jason Atterberry, Tracy Edmondson, Jeremy Edmondson, Lisa Williams, and Laurie McDaniel, Chanda Smith, and Shaun Atterberry; 11 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Graveside funeral services will be private due to COVID concerns.
Public viewing will be from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm on Wednesday and Thursday of this week at the funeral home.
