Matthew "Matt" Scott Williston

Matthew Scott Williston, age 35 passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2024. He was born on September 22, 1989 in Idabel, OK the son of Morris and Aletha Williston.

Matt was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping, spending as much time as possible immersed in nature. He loved riding the backroads with family and friends.

Family was everything to Matt. He treasured every moment spent with them, creating a legacy of love. Matt will be missed by those who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Moose Williston and grandparents, James and Mary Williston.

Matt is survived by his wife, Betty Savell of the home; children, Blaze Savell, Amayla Williston, Zaylen Williston all of the home; mother, Renee Williston; sisters, Shalisa Williston of Idabel, OK, Erika Williston of Idabel, OK and Lindsey Williston of Sherman, TX; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

A celebration of his life service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at the White Family Funeral Chapel.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, December 13, 2024 at the funeral home.
