Mattie Lovewell

Funeral services for Mattie "Tincy" Lovewell will be held 10:00a.m., Friday, October 21, 20222 at the White Family Funeral Home Chapel in Idabel. Interment will follow at the Lovewell Cemetery in the Mills Community, Arkansas. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 pm on Thursday evening.

Mattie "Tincy" Lovewell, age 75 passed away Monday, October 17, 2022 at the McCurtain Memorial Hospital in Idabel, OK. Mattie was born June 6, 1947 in Foreman, AR, the daughter of and Mary LaVerne and Bootley Pond.

Mattie and her husband Clyde Henry Lovewell, Sr. made their home in Tom Community for over thirty years. They enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping, and a little bit of gambling. She was a "dang good cook" and always had dessert on her table. Many memories were made with family, especially at fish fries and cookouts, or sitting on her porch.

Those who preceded her in death include her parents; her husband; one son: Clyde "Kawlija" Lovewell, Jr.; one daughter: Marsheila Lovewell; two sisters: Sissy Lovewell, and Mary Hoover; five brothers: J.W., Paul, Walter, James and Earl Pond.

Those she leaves to cherish her memory include one son and daughter-in-law: Donnie and Melissa Lovewell of Redland, OK; daughter and son-in-law: Tina and Allen Thompson of Foreman, AR; seven grandchildren, Shelby Thompson, Amber Lovewell, Shabree Lovewell, Colt Lovewell, Nicole Pollard, Jessie Pollard, Jr., Justin Gregory; ten great-grandchildren, Madilyn Bannister, Griffin Chilcoat, Grant Salazar, Piper Derrick, Hallie Sims, Bryson Rains, Hayden Pollard, Jase Pollard, Abby Lovewell, Braxton Lovewell; two brothers: Robert Pond of Tom, Mark and Gwen Pond of Broken Bow; one sister: Martha and Jerry Braddock of Cookville, TX; many nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
