Mayo Rodriguez

Mayo Rodriguez, age 54 passed away on Monday, June 13, 2022 at Paris, TX. He was born on April 29, 1968 in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, the son of Porfirio Rodriguez and Ascension Medrano.

            Mayo worked in the log woods for several years. He enjoyed gardening, taking care of his animals and spending time with his family. Mayo was a member of the St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church and had lived in this area for over 35 years coming from Mexico.

            He was preceded in death by his parents, Porfirio and Ascension Rodriguez.

            Mayo is survived by his wife, Veronica Khan of Millerton, OK; his mother-in-law, Carolyn Powell of Millerton, OK; a son, Matthew Khan and Kiersten Garcia of Millerton, OK; daughter, Caroline Rodriguez of Millerton, OK; brothers, Nabor Rodriguez and LuLu of Lafayette, LA, Joaquin Rodgrguez and Jesus Rodriguez both of Mexico; sisters, Norma Rodriguez of Topeka, KS and Angeles Medrano of Mexico; a sister-in-law, Lara Parsons of Millerton, OK; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at the White Family Funeral Chapel with Father Steve Austin officiating. Interment will follow at the Glover Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at the funeral home.
