Michelle Denise Bates, age 55, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2020 at Paris, TX. She was born on October 5, 1964 in Idabel, OK to Robert and Mildred J. Burks Bates.

Michelle was a homemaker She enjoyed cooking, taking care of her home and watching Lifetime Movies. Michelle loved spending time with her family and was a lifelong resident of Idabel.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Michelle is survived by her son, Benny Davis and his wife, Lori of McAlester, OK; daughter, Cynthia Young and her wife, Kayla of Idabel, OK; brother, Wayne Bates and wife, Shanta of Broken Bow, OK; a sister, Ashley Bates of Broken Bow, OK; grandchildren, Makiyah Davis, Caden Davis, Jack Davis, Coty Jones, Marissa Jones, Emmett Jones, Lily Jones and Kcen Young; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A private family graveside service will be held at the Redland Cemetery.
