Morris John

 Floyd Morris John, age 65 passed away on Friday, September 10, 2021 at Idabel, OK. He was born on November 11, 1955 in Los Angeles, CA, the son of Cornelius and Betsie Mitchell John.

Morris cherished spending time with his nieces and nephews. He enjoyed many hours spent in front of his firepit, along with his occasional room temperature beer and taking care of his yard as well as fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 7 brothers; 1 sister and a special friend, Darlene Lee.

Morris is survived by a special great-nephew who he lovingly called Muppetbaby; Darlene’s daughters; Chantay Lee, Tasha Lee, Deah Cherry; brother, Johnny John and Louanne of Idabel, OK; sister, Marilyn Vancil and Frankie of Idabel, OK; sisters-in-law; Kendra John of Hugo, OK and Carolyn John of Idabel, OK; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at the Kulli Tuklo Cemetery with Rev. Rosa Baker and Kenny Sivard officiating.
