Myra Earline James

Myra James, age 75, passed away on December 30, 2022 in Idabel, OK. She was born on June 11, 1947 in Valliant, OK the daughter of Herman and Eula James.    

Myra was a dispatcher for the OSBI for several years.  She thoroughly enjoyed her pets, sweets, and family reunions. Myra was a resident of McCurtain County moving from Midwest City, OK two years ago.

Myra is preceded in death by her parents; husband; Doug Deshazo; granddaughter, Emily Mays; son-in-law, Ernie Mondragon and her dog, Piggy.

She is survived by her daughter, Charli Mondragon of Alamosa, CO son, Brooke Mays of Holly Creek, OK; grandchildren; Corey Mays and Rachael, Lauren Cook, Autumn Goodro and Pyper, Maggie Mays, Mason Mays, and Jaxie Mays; four great-grandchildren; Kyo, Izumi, Haruka and Jordan; brothers, Nicky James of Broken Bow, OK, Eddy James and Ann of Sumpter, SC; sisters, Brenda Bruce and Frank of Idabel, OK, and Shannon James of Oklahoma City, OK.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at The Church in Millerton, OK with Pastor Brent Coffey officiating.  Interment will follow at Valliant Cemetery.
