Naomi (Flowers) Thompson Farley

Naomi Thompson Farley, age 89 of Idabel, OK passed away on Friday, June 9, 2023 in Texarkana, TX. She was born on March 27, 1934, the daughter of Leelon and Nettie Gardner Flowers.

Naomi along with her first husband owned and operated three different service stations in Idabel with her serving as the bookkeeper. She enjoyed singing, and going to the Idabel Nutrition Center where she played Moon with her husband and friends. Naomi loved her family and spending time with them. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church and a lifetime resident of Idabel. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Cleo Thompson; sons, Steve Thompson, Robert Thompson and Mark Thompson; a grandson, Scotty Thompson; sisters, Doris Billingsley, Gay Hall, Melba Scott, Betty Joyce Flowers and Ivey Dean Flowers; and a son-in-law, James Davis. 
 
Naomi is survived by her husband, John P Farley of Idabel, OK; daughters, Susan Farley Davis of Idabel, OK and Cheryl Farley Goldsmith and Charles of Pauls Valley, OK ; brothers Donald Flowers and Judy of Broken Bow, OK and Gary Flowers and Debbie of Hochatown, OK; a sister, Novene Norris of Idabel, OK; daughter-in-law, Karen Thompson; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at the Calvary Baptist Church in Idabel, OK with Bro. Jason Clark officiating. Interment will follow at the Denison Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, June 12, 2023 at the funeral home.
