Norma J (Cox) Wilkinson

Norma Jeanell Wilkinson, age 84 passed away on Monday, January 27, 2025 at McCurtain Memorial Hospital in Idabel, OK. She was born on January 6, 1941 in Union Grove, OK, the daughter of Earl and Vivian Cox.

Norma was a devout Christian and a member of the Holiness Assembly Church. She enjoyed fishing and camping. Her greatest love was her family. Spending time with them was a cherished part of her life, reflecting her strong family values and deep affection for her loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Lavan White, Eldon Wilkinson; sisters, Lucille Gumm, Earlene Ebert, Little Margaret Cox and her granddaughter, Trista Henry.

Norma leaves to cherish her memory her sons Tony White of the Union Grove Community, Ray White and Darcy of the Union Grove Community; daughter, LaDonna Jean White-Tate of Idabel, OK. She was lovingly known as Granny Grunt to her grandchildren, Shawnda Hammonds and Randy Sargent of Idabel, OK, Dakota White and April of the Union Grove Community and her great-grandchildren, Billy Parnell and Haylee, Trystin Hammonds, Makensi Miller, Hayzlee White, Braydee White; two great-great-grandchildren, Kolter Parnell and Kasey Parnell; special friends, Rev. Philip and Sherry Snow; other relatives and friends.

Graveside funeral services were held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at Haworth Cemetery with Bro. Philip Snow officiating.
