Olive Mae "Sue" Atnip, age 94 longtime Haworth resident, passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at Antlers, OK. She was born on December 10, 1931, in Detroit, MI. the daughter of John and Luetonia Glover. On December 7, 1950, Olive married the love of her life, Cecil Atnip in Yuma, AZ.
Together with her husband, Sue dedicated countless hours pastoring several Church of God congregations over the years. Her hobbies included crocheting, gardening along with working on the family farm. Sue's specialty was cooking delicious meals, a skill that she used to bring her family together.
Sue's love for her family was unparalleled. She poured her heart into their lives and cherished time spent with them. She will be missed by those who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Luetonnia (Mickey) Glover; her husband, Cecil Atnip; grandson, Troy Foeppel; two sisters and a brother.
Sue leaves to cherish her memory her son and daughter-in-law, John and SonHe Atnip; daughters and son-in-law, Patti and Sam Flowers of the Holly Creek Community, OK, Debra and Nickey Marallo of Antlers, OK and Cecilia and Patrick Combest of Cottage Grove, OR; grandchildren, Daniel Atnip, Joshua Atnip, Jonathan Atnip, Angel Atnip, Teresa Mwimbe, Nick Foeppel, Timothy Tepe, Jeremiah Tepe and Jonathan Flowers; 14 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends.
