Max Coleman, age 66 passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at his home in Antlers, OK. He was born on December 22, 1953 in Bellefontaine, OH. Max lived most of his life in Arizona. Max and Debra were married in Prescott, Arizona and moved to Oklahoma in 2001, where they began their adventure into the restaurant industry.
Max and Debra opened the Burger Barn in Antlers. For Max it was more than a job. It was his passion. He thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant business. He loved his customers and considered each one a friend. Outside of work he enjoyed spending time with family, friends, cooking, watching football, and other hobbies. Max had lived in Antler's for 16 years coming from Ft Towson, having a home and operating a restaurant there.
Max is survived by his wife, Debra, his son Jeremy Coleman of Illinois; step-sons, Jeremiah Tepe of Antlers, OK and Timothy Tepe of Arizona; brothers, Michael Coleman of Ohio and Dallas Coleman of Arizona; sisters, Carla Remp and Sandy Alexander both of Arizona; 4 grandchildren; several nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Burger Barn in Antlers, OK, Saturday, July 25, 2020 at 2:00 pm. Family and friends will be sharing their experiences about Max's life.
