Ralph Arnold Battiest, age 58, passed away on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at his home in Wright City, OK. He was born on June 9, 1962 in Hugo, OK, the son of Cyrus and Betty Thomas Battiest.
Ralph graduated from Sequoyah High School, in Tahlequah, OK where he played football, baseball and wrestled. Ralph graduated from OSU, in Okmulgee, OK in Diesel Mechanics. He had worked at Tyson Foods for several years. Ralph enjoyed fishing, beading and playing the guitar. He missed and loved his children until his dying day. Ralph loved spending time with his family and spoiling his nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Cyrus Battiest; and a brother, Ronald Battiest.
Ralph is survived by his mother, Betty Battiest of Wright City, OK; sons, Jared Battiest and Katy of Tulsa, OK and Jacob Battiest and Mikala of Tulsa, OK; a daughter, Mallori Battiest of Tulsa, OK; sisters, Faith Clark and Harrell of Antlers, OK and Beverly Richerson and Greg of Wylie, TX; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 7, 2021 at the White Family Chapel in Idabel, OK. with Pastor Ron Fleming and Rev. Vince Maytubby officiating. Interment will follow at Slater Memorial Cemetery in Wright City, OK.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 6, 2021 at the funeral home.
