Robert Daniel Perkins

Robert Daniel Perkins, age 42 passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2023 at his home in Shinewell, OK. He was born September 23, 1980 in Paris, TX, the son of Eugene and Joyce Perkins.

Robert was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed riding four wheelers, mudding, fishing, camping and working in his garden. He was always tinkering with anything that needed to be repaired. Robert was a lifetime resident of McCurtain County and was affiliated with the Bypass Church of Christ

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Dave and Elsie Daniels and his maternal grandparents, Robert and Marvel Peters.

Robert leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Brandy of the home; father Gene Perkins and Valeria of Cisco, OK; mother, Joyce Smith and Joe of Shinewell, OK; sons, Bryce Perkins of Georgia, Kaden Hammonds of Georgia, Corey Hammonds of Georgia; stepson, Tristan Underwood of Shinewell, OK; stepdaughter, Destiney Underwood of Hochatown, OK; grandson, Gatlynn Bishop of Hochatown, OK; brother, Daniel Pond of Floresville, TX; Robert’s twin sister, Helen Jones and Marshal Mitchell of Shinewell, OK, Misty Rivera and Ben Robinson of Oklahoma City, OK; stepsisters, Cindy and John Vaughn, Deana and Billy Plake; stepbrother, Danny Joe Smith; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Friday, April 14, 2023 at White Family Funeral Chapel with Howard and Virginia Jones officiating. Interment will be private.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at the funeral home.
