Roger "Egor" Denison, age 56 of Idabel, Ok passed away on Friday, March 26, 2021 at Idabel. He was born on December 29, 1964 in Oklahoma City, the son of Jay and Louise Denison. Roger was a 1982 graduate of Idabel High School.
He was a mechanic and had worked for Tri Lake Services at the Valliant Paper Mill for several years.
Roger never met a stranger and was quite the jokester. He loved his family passionately and was a devoted husband and soul mate to Judy, and a devoted father and grandfather to his children and grandchildren. Roger enjoyed hunting and fishing but his true passion outside of his family was his love of riding motorcycles. He was a member of Grace Assembly Church and was a lifetime resident of Idabel.
He was preceded in death by his father, John R. "Jay" Denison Jr.; his maternal grandparents, Edward and Geneva Coffman; paternal grandparents, John R Denison Sr. and Ella Denison; a uncle, Gary Coffman Sr.; and an aunt, Evelyn Simmons.
Roger leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Judy Denison of the home; mother, Louise Denison of Idabel, OK; daughters, Renee Purcell and Brandon of Idabel, OK, Cassidee Denison of Ft Towson, OK and Kaitlin Ginn and Dalton of Idabel, OK; a son, Zachary Caudle and Kameron of Idabel, OK; grandchildren, Ethan Purcell, Emalyn Purcell, Zayah Barker, Elijah Ginn, Ezekiel Ginn and Kacelynn Caudle; his fur babies, Bella and Bruno; as well as many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at the Grace Assembly Church in Idabel, OK with Bro. Kyle Jordan officiating. Interment will follow at the Denison Cemetery.
