Ron Clark

Ronald Dane Clark, was born August 28, 1948, in Idabel, Oklahoma to Carl M. Clark and Norris V. Clark. He passed August 21, 2023 in Idabel, Oklahoma.

Ron graduated high school from Idabel Gray High School, then attended the University of Oklahoma studying Architecture. In the mid-1980s Ron immersed himself in a rigorous BFA program at Parsons School of Design in New York City. Later Ron moved to the Dallas, Texas area working in graphic design. Ron married and moved to Plano, Texas where he opened Ron Clark Studio and dedicated his time to abstract painting. He loved fine art, jazz music and spending time with his sons. Ron will be greatly missed by his family.

Ron is survived by his three sons, Dane Clark, New York City, Alexander Clark, Plano, Texas and Nicolas Clark, Plano, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Gene Clark.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at the White Family Funeral Chapel in Idabel, Oklahoma.
