Sandra Ann Rozzell

Sandra Ann Rozzell, age 79 passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at Powderly, TX. She was born September 28, 1945 in Nowata, OK, the daughter of Harold and Jewell Bates.

Sandra had a creative side and she enjoyed working on crafts and sewing projects. She loved spending time watching British comedy along with dining out where she enjoyed trying new foods and savoring moments with friends and family.

Her beloved cat, Bob, was a constant companion who brought joy and comfort to her days. Sandra’s favorite color was sky blue and sunflowers held a special place in her heart and they reflected her cheerful personality and bright outlook on life.

Above all, Sandra cherished her time with her family reveling in every moment spent with them, each and every one. Her love for them was evident and she created many warm memories for them to hold on to.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Jewel Bates; her husband, James “Rozy” Rozzell, and her brothers, Delbert Bates and Paul Bates.

Sandra leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Carissa Hairrell and her husband, Jayson; nephew, Darrin Bates; nieces, Paula Bates, Eugenia Applegate, Lindy Lee; sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda and Johnny Walkingstick, Janie and Mike Lilburn; sisters-in law, Beth Bates, Mary Bates; other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at White Family Funeral Home.
