Serena Blair Obituary

Serena June Blair, a beloved wife to late husband Steve Blair, mother to three children, grandmother to six grandchildren, and great grandmother to four grandchildren passed away peacefully on February 5, 2026 in Oklahoma City, leaving a void her family cannot fill.

June was born in Red Oak, Oklahoma in 1939 to Ernest and Ella May Woodruff and was the third child between four brothers. June met the love of her life, Steve and they were married soon after. The two were inseparable until his passing in 2007. June was self employed as an upholsterer and helped Steve with odd jobs here and there. June was a very talented woman. She enjoyed painting, sewing, crocheting, reading, studying God’s word, and spending time with family.

June was a devoted mother to Michael, Robert, and Mary Beth. They were her pride and joy. She always said they changed her life for the better, and they felt that in the love and support she provided."Best mommy ever" they said.

She took special joy in chasing the kids around the property and had fond memories of playing cowboys and indians. One day, June was the "cowboy" and might have tied up the "Indians" for a few hours to get some house work done.

June was preceded in death by her father, Ernest Woodruff, her mother Ella May Woodruff, her brothers Stanley Woodruff, James Woodruff, Dallas Woodruff, and her beloved husband Steven Fulton Blair.

She is survived by younger brother Ronnie Woodruff of Mesquite, Texas, her children Micheal Blair of Newcastle, Oklahoma, Robert and Regina Blair of Newcastle, Oklahoma, Mary Beth and Leon Fuller of Bridge Creek, Oklahoma. Her grandchildren Casey and Missy Blair of Pickens, Oklahoma, Megan and Blake Curtis of Conway Arkansas, Brandon Blair of Newcastle, Oklahoma, Bailey and Tyler Buie of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Riley and Brandon Prudhome of Newcastle, Oklahoma, Rebecca and Dustin Browning of Blanchard, Oklahoma. Her great grandchildren Aiden Blair, Pippin Blair, Aubrey Buie, Zelda Blair, and Autumn Buie. All who will never forget the love she brought to their lives.
