Shirley Lynn (Roper) Browder

Shirley Roper-Browder, age 67 of Idabel, OK passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at Texarkana, TX. She was born on December 28, 1954 in Idabel, OK, the daughter of Dempsey Mayo Roper and Doris Olive Waugh Roper. Shirley was a 1973 graduate of Idabel Gray High School.

Shirley was a homemaker, a seamstress and a talented cook with fried chicken being her specialty. She was very outspoken, honest and not afraid to speak the truth. She loved gardening and pretty flowers. Shirley was of the Baptist Faith and a lifetime resident of Idabel, OK.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Shirley is survived by her daughters, Lacey Allen and Dan Osterdyk of Pine City, MN, Lyndsey Eason and TaLeesha Sliger both of Idabel, OK; grandchildren, Elyssa Sorrels, Easton Sorrels, Garret Attaway and Gavin Attaway; her beloved dog, Tinker; many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, May 27, 2022 at the White Family Chapel.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at the funeral home.
