Shirley (Malone) Gray

Shirley Gray, age 78, passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at Idabel, OK. She was born February 24, 1948 in Denton, TX, the daughter of Clarence Grover Malone and Alma Lorene Williams Malone.

Shirley loved her family and spending time with her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed dancing, playing pool and drinking cokes. Shirley was a lifetime resident of McCurtain County.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donnie Gray Sr.; a son, Charles Wayne "Peanut"; a sister, Sue Proctor; and her brothers, Tommy Malone, CG Malone and Edwin Malone.

Shirley is survived by her daughter, Karen Briggs of Haworth, OK; sons, Aubrey Gray and Donnie Gray Jr.; a sister, Nancy Chambers of Bonham, TX; grandchildren, TW Petty, Brittany Barnes, Summer Wright, Lacee Bates, Kyle Gray, Courtney Gray, Tara French, Casey Treadway and Brylee Gray; numerous great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.
