Stephanie Roberts

Stephanie Anne Roberts, age 54 of Lawton, OK passed away on Friday, December 30, 2022 at Idabel. She was born on September 22, 1968 in Foreman, AR, the daughter of Courtney and Linda (Adams) Roberts. She is a graduate of Haworth High School and continued her education studying business at Langston University.

She worked at Tysons, as a Day Care worker and was a Caregiver for many years. Stephanie loved cooking, laughing, being around her family. She captivated anyone with a warm and welcome embrace with her loving smile while smoking a cigarette.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Roberts; grandson; grandfather, Horace Adams; grandmothers, Maggie Roberts and Minnie A. Adams; brother, Wayne Anthony Roberts; sister-in-law, Beatrice Adams; aunts, Minnie (Peaches) O. Adams Compton, Marlene Adams, Irene Adams, Aretha Carter; cousins, Edward Earl Adams, Za’Niiyah Renay Adams and sister-in-love, Gertrude Moss.

Stephanie is survived by her father, Courtney (Flobell) Roberts of Wallace, AR; grandmother, Bernice Monroe of Idabel, Ok; sons, Billy and Brandon Roberts both of Lawton, OK; daughter, Brandus Roberts of Lawton, OK; daughter-in-law, Tymika Miller of Lawton, OK; brothers, Tony Roberts of Tulsa, OK, Gary and Darryl Roberts both of Idabel, OK; sister, Tracy Fields of Haworth, OK; sister-in-law, Angie Roberts of Edmond, Ok; aunts: Kay and Ray Adams of Tom, Ok, Wendy (Darren) Roberts of Clarksville, TX, Linda Scroggins of Idabel, OK; uncles, Wayne (Rose) Adams of Guthrie, OK, Herman and Horace Adams of Idabel, OK; Jose Monroe of Idabel, OK, Juan Monroe of San Antonio, TX, Edward Scroggins of Ashdown, AR; sisters-in-love, Tara (Henry) Johnson of Idabel, OK, Kym Willis of Tom, OK, Bolley Henderson of Texarkana, AR, Tammie Rutledge of Norman, OK, Peggy Ollison and Valerie Haitshan of Lawton, OK;  ten grandchildren; three nieces; eight nephews; four great-nieces; six great-nephews; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at the Community Baptist Church with Pastor Travis Jones and Milton Glass officiating. Interment will follow at the St. Luke Cemetery in Tom, OK.
