Stephannie Ragland Obituary

Our darling Stephannie Kay Ragland went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 13, 2020. She was born in DeQueen, Arkansas, on April 30, 1969, to Brenda (Evicks) Ragland and Jerry Ragland. Stephannie gave her life to Christ at the age of nine. Stephannie is survived by her parents of the home in Broken Bow, OK, one brother, Tim Ragland and his wife Lauren Ragland of Redland, OK, two nephews, Mason Ragland and Matthew Ragland, and a host of dearly loved aunts, uncles and her precious cousins. Stephannie was preceded in death by her grandparents Adam and Irene Evicks and Herman and Estelle Ragland.

Stephannie served in her church at the First Baptist Church of Broken Bow working with the 4 and 5 year old class for 25 years. She was the wind beneath her mother’s wings throughout her mother’s teaching career and worked tirelessly to make life easier for her family. Stephannie lived her whole life in Broken Bow except for six years in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Stephannie loved her family, her church, and Christmas. Each year when Christmas was celebrated, the countdown to the next Christmas started the very next day.

Stephannie’s most often said words were “Mom, what can I do to help you?”

A private family graveside service will be held at the Crown Hill Cemetery in Broken Bow, OK.

Stephannie requested no flowers. If a donation is desired, please donate to Samaritan Purse and/or the Gideon organization to purchase Bibles.
