Steven Wayne Brown, age 65 of Haworth, OK passed away Saturday October 11, 2025 in Wolfe City, TX. He was born on September 8, 1960 in Idabel, Oklahoma

Steve loved the Lord and he read his bible every day. He loved to go fishing. His greatest time was spent being with his daughter and grandkids. He was a truck driver all his life. After he retired, Steve liked to go get a coke and drive around. Steve never drove a dirty pick up and said he would have been a rich man if he had a dime for every time he was at the car wash.

He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter Stacey Deion Tabor of Hooks, TX; grandchildren, Kiley Ann Tabor of Hooks, TX, Kolby Tabor of Hooks, TX; sisters, Gail Batson of Arkinda, OK, Tammy & Mike Tallant of Arkinda, OK; aunt, Nema Wright of Haworth, OK, Joyce Brown of Haworth, OK; cousins, Carri & Jeff Boyd of Stillwater, OK, Jacque & Kyle Batson of Redland, OK, Shawn Wright of Haworth, OK, great-cousins, Morgan & Kyle Rogers of Stillwater, OK, Blakely & Jaggar Smith of Anna, TX, and lifelong friends, Barbara Raley, Eddie Baker.

Preceded in death by his mother, Mary Sullivan, grandparents, Wesley & Gladys Brown, brother, James Wesley Morgan, niece, Yvette Sullivan, uncle and best friend, Jack Brown and his aunt, Mildred Evans and his uncle, Charles (Buddy) Brown, and his cousin, Herbert Tollison.
