Terri Rene Haubner

Terri Rene (Mathis) Haubner, age 58 passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2025 at Plano, TX having battling a long term illness. She was born on March 20, 1967 in Idabel, OK the daughter of Geddy and Bertha Mathis.

Terri was a woman of deep faith, proudly belonging to the Baptist community. She believed in the power of gift-giving and reaching out to others. For the majority of her life Terri was a resident of the Idabel, Broken Bow area.

As a dedicated homemaker and substitute teacher at Broken Bow High School, Terri had a passion for education and nurturing young minds. She loved working with kids at school along with the children at church.

Family was everything to Terri, and she cherished each and every one of her loved ones. Her legacy of love and kindness will be fondly remembered by all who knew her. She loved giving and anyone who knew her knows she never met a stranger.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Geddy A. Mathis and Bertha L. Mathis; and her uncle, Jimmy Burks and grandparent James Burks & Goldie Burks, Geddy H Mathis and Opal Alexander.

Terri leaves to cherish her memory her sons, Michael Mathis of Springdale, AR, Matthew Haubner of Broken Bow, OK, Martin Haubner of Broken Bow, OK; brothers, Geddy G. and Kim Mathis of El Reno, OK, Alex and Marla Mathis of Ashdown, AR, Mark  and Olga Mathis of Sherwood, AR; numerous nephews and nieces, Kyle and Amber Mathis of Crowley, TX, James Mathis of Odessa Texas; Devon Mathis of Baltimore MD, Garratt Mathis Las Vegas, NV, Taylor Mathis, Marrietta GA, LT Sean Mathis USA Sherwood AR, Andrew Mathis Sherwood AR one granddaughter, Mazikeen Faye Mathis. Numerous Cousins & other Great Nieces and Nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, April 18, 2025 at the funeral home.
