Terry Lynn Williston, age 61, passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2024 at Oklahoma City. He was born on May 7, 1964 in Idabel, OK, the son of William and Ruthie Mae Harley Williston.
Terry was a welder and rancher but in reality he could fix or do just about anything. He was both a jokester and a talker, and loved to make people laugh. Terry loved to fish and was an avid OU Football Fan. Listening to music was one of his favorite things to do and soul music was his favorite. Terry was a proud member of the Choctaw Nation and a longtime member of the Kulli Tuklo Methodist Church.
Terry loved his family and cherished the time he spent with them. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leo Harley, Lena Battice and Rosa and Tobias Williston; brothers, Jimmy Carroll, Bobby Joe Williston, Silas Parker and William Larson Williston; sisters, Sonya Williston and Brenda Kidd; sisters-in-law, Jerri Parker and Lagena Williston.
Terry is survived by his wife, Kittie Williston of the home; sons, Teyler Williston of Durant, OK and Clint and Kara Howard of Tulsa, OK; daughters, Ashley and Casey Breshears of Valliant, OK and Stacey and J Paul Russell of Ada, OK; brother, Thomas Williston of Idabel, OK; sisters, Wanda Howard and Marilyn Elliott both of Idabel, OK; grandchildren, Savannah Lucas, Hunter Williston, Jonavon Carterby, Gracey Breshears, Blakley Breshears, Clay and Bre Balthrop, Caden Balthrop, Kinley Howard and Campbell Howard; great-grandchildren, Rosalyn Williston, Winnie Williston, Rileigh Balthrop and Briar Balthrop; 36 nieces; 22 nephews; many other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at the White Family Chapel in Idabel, OK with Bro. Gabe Elliott officiating. Interment will follow at Canfield Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, August 22, 2025 at the funeral home.
