Thomas Michael Berlinghoff

Thomas Michael Berlinghoff was born February 22, 1953 in Buffalo, NY. He passed from this life on June 22, 2022 at home, as he wanted, in Idabel, OK at the age of 69, after a long illness.

Tom lived the bulk of his life in Tonawanda and Darien Center, NY. He graduated from Kenmore East in 1971 and the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1977. He retired from Goodyear-Dunlop in Tonawanda, NY as a Global efficiency expert, where he traveled extensively for them.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 21 years, Jacqueline M. Berlinghoff; two loving daughters, Sarah Berlinghoff and son-in-law, Kevin Nain and Jennifer Berlinghoff; one step-son, Robert B. Whitfield and daughter-in-law, Alicia Whitfield and five grandsons. He was very proud of all his children’s life accomplishments. He is also survived by his sister, Linda Berlinghoff Campagna and brother-in-law, Michael Campagna; one brother, William Berlinghoff and four nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert C. Berlinghoff, Sr. and Lois Fleegal Berlinghoff and one brother, Robert C. Berlinghoff, Jr.

Tom was an avid sportsman in both hunting and fishing and was an Eagle Scout. He also loved gardening as well.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
