Thomas "Tommy" Ray Tucker

Thomas Ray "Tommy" Tucker, age 79 passed away Friday, December 26, 2025 at his home in Idabel, OK. He was born November 22, 1946 in Idabel, OK, the son of Oren and Gracie Tucker.

Tommy was a veteran of the US Army. He was a longtime employee of the US Postal Service as well as the McCurtain Gazette. Tommy enjoyed fishing and bowling. He was a lifetime resident of Idabel, OK.

 He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Norma Tucker; a son, Brian Tucker; a step-daughter, Pamela Rodgers; brothers, Troy Tucker and Johnny Tucker; and sisters, Vera Farmer and Louise Tucker.

Tommy is survived by his daughter, Valorie and Aubrey Brake of Idabel, OK; grandchildren, Brianna Brake and Austin Brake; brother, George "Earnie" Tucker and LeAnn of Idabel, OK; step-sons, Charlie Williams, Bennie Williams and Jimmy Williams; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Graveside services with military honors will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at the Denison Cemetery with Renee Callaway Wright officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, December 29, 2025 at the funeral home.
