Tommy "Dean" Kennedy

Tommy Dean Kennedy was born on February 20, 1960, in Hobbs, NM. He went to be with his loved ones in Heaven on March 28, 2026. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tommy and Wyota Sue Kennedy as well as his younger brother Michael Kennedy.

His family and friends always called him Dean. When Dean was younger, he worked for his family business, repairing appliances and reselling them.

He and his family loved taking vacations and he's been all over the country going to different national parks and just taking in the sights. Some of his hobbies included listening to Rock and Heavy metal bands and watching TV!! He loved that more than anything, especially if he was drinking a big cup of coffee. He knew more than most about anything that peaked his interest and loved telling you all about it!! The small things in life made him happy like getting some jolly ranchers and a hamburger with a chocolate milk shake.

Dean lived in Colorado for many years and now his resting place will be here in Oklahoma. He was loved by all who knew him and it was always so nice hearing him say he loved you back with his big quirky grin. Dean was a big kid at heart with a loving personality, and his presence will be greatly missed. 

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at White Family Funeral Chapel in Idabel with Pastor Rachel Parrot officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.
