Troy Wilkerson

Troy Wilkerson, age 77 passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at McCurtain Memorial Hospital in Idabel, OK. He was born on November 7, 1946, the son of Edgar and Katherine Wilkerson.

Troy was an avid fisherman. He enjoyed riding the backroads of McCurtain County but also liked going to new restaurants to check out the food. He loved and appreciated his family and spending time with them. Troy was a resident of the area most of his life and he will be missed by those who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Patricia Wilkerson and brother, Alfred Wilkerson.

Troy is survived by his children, Tonya Wallace of Idabel, OK, Angie and Toby Hess of Garvin, OK and Kevin Wilkerson and Katherine Phillips of Woodward, OK; eight grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and many friends.

During this time the family will meet at the home of Brenda Smith, 1662 Eight Mile Rd, Idabel, OK.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at Haworth Cemetery with Jimmy Smalling officiating.
